Sightseeing & Activities

Enjoy the stunning views of the Red Road on a short 10 minute drive to our local black sand beach, Kehena. Or just 5 minutes away is Uncle Robert’s, a great place to take in the local fare, with its kava bar and local Hawaiian entertainment. Located only 7 miles from the quaint village of Pahoa, the property is private, but in a central location for swimming, eating, hiking and other vacation activities.

  • Kaleo's Bar & Grill
  • Ning's Thai Cuisine
  • Paolo's Bistro
  • Pahoa Fresh Fish
  • Tin Shack Bakery
  • Luquin's Mexican Restaurant

Only two miles from the house is Uncle Robert's Awa Club. They have a live band and farmers market every Wednesday evening as well as Saturday mornings, and live music and a fun bar scene on Friday and Saturday nights.
