My husband, teenage children and I all loved this place! The home and furnishings are beautiful, comfortable and clean. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and fun to explore.
Located in a very ‘laid back’ area between Kalapana/lava fields and Pahoa, the location is private and quiet (except for the frogs :-)) It is an easy drive to Volcano or Hilo, and there are wonderful beaches, tide pools and volcanic pools nearby. Amazing snorkling on this island!
Be aware: the house is located in a ‘buggy’ area! Bring bug spray/cream. Also, kitchen has no microwave, but just about everything else and all appliances are high end. AWD car not necessary, but we were glad we had one to get around the island.Our host Juan was very helpful and always available when we had a question. Highly recommended!Tm213

I was fortunate enough to spend two weeks visiting my son and his girlfriend on the Big Island of Hawaii where we rented Paradise Found. Appropriately named! It provided all the privacy and tranquility that we were looking for. It was immediately evident that the owners have put a lot of time and thought into this home.
My son who is an avid cook, loved the fully equipped kitchen which had everything needed for preparing meals. The two guest suites on the lower level of the main house and the separate master suite really allowed for added privacy.
Wrap-around lanai was wonderful. We loved the ocean views from here.
It was overall our favorite spot in Hawaii, thank you so much!

Hard to leave!

As you arrive you sense the care taken to plan the gardens and home, for a relaxing Hawaiian experience. You can view the garden as you cook in the well appointed kitchen. Each room has own bathroom for privacy. The master bedroom has beautiful wood work and amazing views from its own deck. Every morning we watched the sunrise from the deck of the gardens with the ocean in the distance! It was so hard to leave!

Puna paradise

What a wonderful week in Puna at this lovely home! You can tell that a lot of care and thought went into the craftsmanship and decor of this home. The layout of the rooms were perfect for us and the beds were very comfortable. There was privacy for all and plenty of common space to enjoy cooking and lounging in the main house. We dined outside on the lanai overlooking the beautiful gardens every day! While we were so close and convenient to markets and day trips, every time we returned from our outings, it was like returning to our own special paradise.
